It has long been the hope of our foundation to play a part in finding the cure for late stage melanoma.  Our Research Grants and Summer Scholarship programs have been put in place to assist to that end. Although we do not necessarily give out a grant/scholarship each year, dependent on the Peer Boards review of the accumulated applicants and the meeting of our criteria, we have set aside funding and the means to do so.  It is our hopes that through our Summer Scholarship Program to "raise up the next generation of researchers" that will bring about innovative methods of putting this deadly disease to rest. 

The dollar amounts for grants may vary from year to year, pending on our fundraising efforts; as will the number of grants given. Summer Scholarship monies are for a three month period and the amount is from $1,000 to $1,500.

Deadline for Summer Scholarship Applications is:  

May 1 of each year-Recipient Notification by June 1.

Deadline for Grant Applications is:  Sept. 1 of each year-Recipient Notification by Nov. 1.
